We’re searching for a skilled financial specialist to join our accounts payable team to help process, track, and record payments in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner. The accounts payable specialist will have both a day-to-day and ongoing impact on financial transactions, keeping the payables ledgers on track, on time, and help build trust with our valued partners.
To Support the Finance Supervisor in optimizing financial transactions and systems by performing reconciliation of payments and supplier accounts.
Strengthen and grow relationships with vendors and suppliers through timely payments.
Assist in streamlining and improving the accounts payable process.
Exercise integrity and confidentiality in financial reporting.
Communicate discrepancies to management team, identify delayed invoice submissions and any VAT or WHT related discrepancies.
Review invoices for appropriate documentation before payment.
Perform invoice and general-ledger data entry.
Execute credit card and bank account reconciliation.
Generate purchase orders when necessary.
Obtain and print signatures on all checks.
Assist Finance Supervisor or other senior Finance team members as needed
Strong mathematical skills
Understanding of basic principles of finance, accounting, and book-keeping
Effective time management and detail orientation
Proficiency with Google Drive, One Drive.
Ability to build trust through effective communication with key partners.
Proficiency with spreadsheets and documents.
Minimum requirement: B. Com
